Building interfaces that feel fast, layered, and quietly precise.

I design and build product interfaces for the web — mostly with React, TypeScript, and a lot of attention to motion and material. I care about the parts people feel but rarely name: how a panel settles, how a list reveals itself, how a surface tells you it is on top of another one.

What I do

Three things, and the seams between them are where most of the work actually happens.

Interface engineering

React and Next.js at production scale — routing, data flow, and the unglamorous parts: error states, empty states, and what happens on a slow connection.

React 19Next.jsTypeScriptServer Components

Design systems

Tokens that survive contact with real products. Themeable colour, a depth ramp that means something, and components documented well enough that nobody forks them.

Motion & interaction

Motion used to explain spatial relationships, not to decorate. Every transition answers where a thing came from and where it went.

Recent work

A few things I have shipped lately, newest first.

An operations console for a logistics fleet: live map, shipment timeline, and a command palette that keeps dispatchers on the keyboard all day. Rebuilt the data layer around streaming updates so the table never blocks on a refetch.

Token pipeline and component library shared by four product teams. Figma variables compile to CSS custom properties, so a colour change lands in code the same day it lands in design.

Bookkeeping for small studios. The hard part was not the maths — it was making reconciliation feel forgiving, so a mistake is always one obvious step from being undone.

Now

Leading frontend on a logistics console and slowly folding its patterns back into Prism.

Learning

Rust, mostly to understand what my tooling is actually doing.

Available

Taking on one contract from Q1 — product work or design system rescue.

Have something that needs building properly?

I take on one project at a time — product work, or a design system that has stopped scaling. Tell me what you are working on.
